Razor E Series Scooters

Razor E Series Scooters - Different Types And What Makes them Different

When it comes to electronic scooters, Razor is definitely top of the game.  This relatively new company that was founded only in 2000 has taken the all time favorite classic and gave it a modern twist by adding a battery, slapping on a motor, and giving it a couple more tweaks here and there.

So here are the basic 6 Razor E Series Scooters that are on the market today.  Below you will find the different types and what makes them different- aside from just the model name as well as the price tag that is.

Let’s start with the E100.  If you are looking to buy for your kid, this is probably your best bet.  Recommended for kids who are 8 and up who do not go over 120 lbs., that is.  Having said that, you can already guess that since it is for kids, it is kiddie sized and has kiddie features too- like the max speed on this is only 10 mph.

Moving on to the E200 and the E200S.  Just as the model number goes up, so does the recommended age group.  These two are great for 13 year olds and up and has a weight limit of 150 lbs.  Both can go as fast as 13 mph and both are foldable making it easy for storage and perfect for travel.  So what is the difference between the two?  The E200 is a stand up scooter while the E200S comes with a seat.  Maybe that is what the S is for after all.  However, the seat of the E200S can easily be removed and it can also be a stand up scooter too.

Up next, let’s take a look at the E300 and the E300S.  These are targeting the older teenagers and even adults too.  Among the Razor E Series Scooters here, these are actually the fastest.  They can reach up to 15 mph. They also have wider decks, and thicker frames, and fatter tires than the previous ones.  The weight limit is much higher too being set at 220 lbs.  The E300S can also double as a stand up scooter by taking off its seat.

All of the Razor E Series Scooters come with 24 V sealed lead acid battery systems that are composed of two 12V.  All also come with a UL listed charger.  Plus, they all run on high performance motors too. The E series are basically a kick scooter with a power source. A far more elegant looking scooter that is also made by Razor is the Pocket Mod electric scooter. This is based on the original Vespa scooter and is a pretty good replica of this iconic machine.
